You can get movement in throughout your day without the use of any equipment, but sometimes it's nice to mix things up and add another element to your routine. And sometimes, just getting a cute new piece of equipment or accessory can get you excited to get your movement in for the day - this is definitely true for me.
The Obé Fitness app has tons of classes that require no equipment, but if you see a class you want to do that needs some fitness and movement equipment, here is a list of my favorites!
Motivational Water Bottle - Hydration is super important and these motivational bottles help me make sure I'm getting the right amount of water throughout the day!
Yoga Blocks - These are affordable and really helpful for modification of difficult poses as well as poses for restorative yoga.
Resistance Bands - Great for adding another level of difficulty to your movement if/when you're ready.
Pilates Ball - An affordable piece of equipment if you love pilates!
Yoga Bolster - This is the exact one that I have and I absolutely love it!
Under Desk Walking Pad - This is the walking pad I have and I love it for getting some movement in throughout my workday instead of sitting all day and getting stiff.
This super cushy yoga mat - I don't have this mat yet, but it's on my wishlist. My current mat is great for travel and taking to yoga studios, but I really want one of these cushy ones for at home to help protect my joints even more.
Yoga Blanket - It's really nice to have one of these to help protect your knees as well as for restorative yoga.
Foam Roller - This is a really affordable one that is very similar to the one I have. I love that it includes a deep pressure roller and a gentler one as well. Sooo nice for rolling out sore muscles!
