August Movement Challenge

Hey there busy moms, fitness enthusiasts, and wellness warriors! Are you ready to shift your focus from mere "exercise" to a holistic approach that celebrates "movement" and overall well-being? If the answer is a resounding "Yes!" then get ready to embark on an exciting journey with me: The August Movement Challenge!


What's the August Movement Challenge all about?

Starting on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, I am kicking off a month-long movement challenge that aims to prioritize our health and happiness over the pressure of getting shredded or losing weight. Together, we'll embrace the joy of movement, diverse forms of exercise, and sustainable practices that will leave us feeling energized and fulfilled.


I'm committing to moving my body at least 10 minutes a day EVERY day in August. This can mean anything from 2 5-minute stretching sessions, to 10 minutes of yoga, or 30 minutes of cardio. Whatever my mood is that day, I'm going to listen to my body and do what feels best that day.


How to Join the Challenge

Participating in the challenge is easy and rewarding! Here's what you need to do:

  1. Sign up for a Month Free of Obé Fitness: To access tons of exciting and effective workout routines, sign up for a free month of Obé Fitness using my affiliate link: Obé Fitness Sign-up Link. Obé Fitness shares the same values as me - they believe in promoting health, movement, and well-being in a way that fits our busy lives.

  2. Move your body for at least 10 minutes each day with the Obé Fitness App: Starting August 1, dedicate at least 10 minutes each day to some type of movement with the Obé app. They have everything from yoga to pilates, strength training to walking programs. There are On Demand classes as well as live classes and they last anywhere from 5-50 minutes! There is even a handy scheduler in the app to help you plan out your week!

  3. Follow @balanced_life_with_bri on Instagram: To participate in the prize drawings and stay updated on all the fun, follow my Instagram - @balanced_life_with_bri.

  4. Share Your Progress on Instagram Stories: Throughout the challenge, I'll be sharing my daily movement experiences and updates on my Instagram stories. I'd love for you to do the same! Share your journey, challenges, and successes using the challenge hashtag #AugustMovementChallenge to inspire and encourage others in our vibrant community.

Weekly Prize Drawings - Your Chance to Win!

Now, here's an extra exciting part: you can win weekly prizes just by staying consistent with your movement! Each Sunday, starting from August 6, 2023, you can enter to win a fantastic prize. Here's how:

  1. DM me on Instagram with a screenshot of your Stats tab in Obé showing that you moved your body every single day that week.

  2. For each week you complete successfully, you'll be entered into the weekly prize drawing. The more weeks you complete, the higher your chances of winning!

Some of the prizes that will be given out:

  • Set of 3 fitness bands

  • Motivational Reusable Water Bottle

  • Set of 2 yoga blocks

  • And More!

At the end of the month, everyone who moved their body all 31 days in August will be put into a grand prize drawing for a Prize Pack that will include the following:
